A Brave Girl

THE STORY BEHIND IT

For the strength that did not always look brave.

Being a brave girl doesn’t always look brave from the outside. Sometimes it’s the quiet strength of carrying things nobody ever saw, the weight you picked up because somebody had to, and kept carrying anyway.

For so many Black women, that strength runs deep. It lives in the culture, in grandmothers, in mothers, in generations of women who held everything together and still found a way to smile, to pray, and to keep going.

That kind of bravery doesn’t always get named.

But it deserves to be honored.

This collection is for her.

The tee, the tote, and the journal are small reminders that the strength she carried was never invisible to God, even when the world didn’t see it.

And if that’s your story too, no matter where you come from, this one is for you as well.
